installing MySql

Since yesterday I have been trying to install MySql Server in my computer. I have finished today. There were some problems creating the service in windows, because I have Windows XP with SP2 and include a Firewall. I have to create an entry in the Firewall for the port 3306 and I have to create an entry for the program MySql.

The unistall feature doesn't work properly and I have to delete the entry from the registry and some directories that it didn't delete it.

After that I have installed the graphic interface for MySql, I mean MySql Query and MySql Administrator. I will try to learn how to us it today.
