Today I'm working on my third assignment. I'll start reading the Risk Management Book. I hope that one will be also interesting.

Working on my second SCM assignment (3rd day)

Today I finished my part of the second assignment. It was not so much, only two pages. In the next one I have to write 5 pages myself.

Enabling knowledge creation

Today I'll finished this interesting book. It is a really good one. It can help on my project, to think about knowledge creation between different countries and institutions.
There are five knowledge enablers that should be interconnected with how is enabled the process of knowledge creation, they are according to the book: 
1) Instill a knowledge vision (chapter 5)
2) Manage conversations (chapter 6)
3) Mobilize knowledge activists (chapter 7)
4) Create the right context (chapter 8)
5) Globalize local knowledge (chapter 9)
 
Abou globalize local knowledge there are three steps:
a) Triggering--->b) Packaging and Distpaching --->c) Re-creating knowlege or knowledge re-creation

This phrase of re-creating knowledge is good "The old phrase 'Think globally, act locally' is an oversimplification of the true complexities of today's global competition; ' Think globally and locally, act appropriately' better describes the real marketplace." Robert Moran and John Riesenberg (1994, p.119) cited from Nonaka's p. 233.

Reading Nonaka's book

Today I'm reading Nonaka's book, chapters 7 and 8. In chapter 7 [p.149], the authors explain the three roles that a knowledge activist does:
1) Catalysts of knowledge-creation
2) Coordinators of knowledge-creation initiatives
3) Merchants of foresight
They can play one these roles or all of three in one moment.

Meeting with Kiran (2nd assignment)

Today I meet Kiran for the second assignment, we define the template for it and I spread out to the others team members using email.

The first SCM assignemnt finished

Today I finished the first SCM assignment, I'm happy for that !

Today I have finished to read chapter 5 and 6 of the book, it is really interesting.
Here some guiding principles for good conversation from chapter 6:
1) Actively Encourage Participation
2) Establish Conversational Etiquette
3) Edit Conversation appropriately
4) Foster Innovative Language

Advancing strategies and knowledge creation

There are some issues that should be taken in consideration in order to develop advanced strategies and knowledge creation in a company according to Nonaka's et al book:
1) Sharing tacit knowledge
2) Creating concepts
3) Justifying concepts
4) Building a prototype
5) Cross-leveling knowledge

Working on my first SCM assignment

Today I'm still working on my first assignment of SCM. I hope I'll finished today.
Tasks to do:
- Make the conclusions.
- Create another references.
- Review for completion.
- Review for grammatical and sintax errors.

Today I'm reading chapter number 3 and 4 of Nonaka's et al book. It is really interesting.

Today is another day working on SCM assignment 1. I hope I'll finished soon.

Book finished

Today I finished to read the book, "Winning through Participation" from ICA.
It is a really good book, that explain some of the more important techniques developed by ICA, one is "ToP Focused Conversation Method", "ToP Workshop Method", and finally the "ToP Event Planning and Orchestration Techniques".

Andrei Rublev

Yesterday, I saw a new film of Tarkosvky at ICA(Institute of Contemporary Arts, UK) in London. It is a film from 1969 developed in two parts and with a 3 hours length. It was a good film, really strong.

Today I went to the Old Trafford, it is a great Stadium, amazing.

Courses in Manchester

The facilitation courses were really good and I met really interesting people.

Flying to England

From tomorrow till 12 july, I'll be in England. Probably I'll update my Blog not so frequently, when I find some Internet Connection.
